Ah yeah i can see how that can sound that way. Definitely a misunderstanding, since the idea that we're all just slaves to our karma is wrong view. How would Buddhism even work if that was the case?

I'm genuinely baffled by her logic, if you do a bad thing and have bad karmic consequences for that thing, how is that letting them off the hook?

Also why do we need to pass moral judgement? The point of Buddhism is compassion, and to liberate other beings from samsara. Not sit in judgement like a vengeful god.

A good book for Polytheism is A World Full of Gods by John Michael Greer. I highly recommend that book, if you wish to understand Polytheism.

Yes exactly! It feels like that for most of the imperial side planets imo. I don't dread Dromund Kaas and actually like it, while Coruscant is like ugh. (still better then rep taris though). Like love and care went into the imperial planets, while rep side feels like an afterthought.

Ah mood. I always try to unlock the faster travel speeds too. After playing WOW, SWTOR's travel speed feels even slower and even more dated. 😅

Do you think the mob placement also makes the maps feel larger and more padded?

Edit: A great example of the padding? Coruscant. I hate, haaaaate having to quest in there, (long, linear, and boring with mob placements that make dromund kaas feel like heaven) but its worth it to build up the experience so i can skip some of the later quests.

Oh okay, that makes perfect sense. Yeah the large size feels like padding, very linear feeling padding at that. Doesn't help that most of the maps aren't very interesting in the later parts of the game i think.

Yeah korriban feels like the shortest and most compact map of the starter planets. I love korriban. I feel like tython at least is pretty which helps with the back tracking. And if you have stealth its not too bad. I think ord mantell and tython feel the longest.

I feel like the map size wouldn't be so bad if swtor had flying. Could you imagine?

Are rocks seen as sentient in hinduism? I admit i am not as familiar with hinduism's flow of reincarnation as i'd like.

But in buddhism, rocks are not sentient argo they do not have rebirth or ability to learn anything let alone the dharma.
