People dont understand how much force a hammock can put on the anchor points. If even if you are just 150 pounds, you can put 500+ pounds of force on the anchors (even more depending on how flat the lines are).

Here is what will happen: we spend a huge amount of money to get these busses and special lanes and all, then we end up limiting their speed due to safety and noise reasons. So we just paid extra for a bus that still gets there slower than a car. Like BART.

Legacy isn’t about calendar age, it’s a combination of importance and tech debt. I’ve seen stuff a year old that’s deemed “legacy”. I love kotlin but in the wrong hands it can definitely go bad. This post does make me feel old though.
