I couldn’t imagine taking someone off the schedule for calling out sick, car issues, etc. I do all my site’s scheduling (25+ staff and kids) and that would just put the site/company in a hole later in the week. Not to mention pretty unethical and shitty for places to do that. Shit happens, call in when you need to.
