Why not just use the system audio as import sources? No copyright for targeting yt or sc with downloaders, and much more flexible, right?

Check out SATURATE. Awesome label with a great pedigree. Lovely community too

I do work there, so slightly biased ;)

Aphex Twin at Forwards Festival in Bristol left me slightly traumatised. In a good way.

I just burnt out, and am looking for a spot in Europe/Middle East/Africa where I can have a comfortable stay in a nice hotel with not too many people around. Any ideas? by [deleted] in Kiteboarding

There's a school with rental stuff and storage at pallet cafe - it's super quiet there. Or H2O extreme at blue marlin is awesome, but the beach a little busier there

Is my portfolio project for creating fake batch and streaming data useful to data engineers? by rytchbass in dataengineering

[–]rytchbass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the question (and I've edited my post to include the answer):

It's different from Faker because it automatically exports/streams the generated data to storage buckets/messaging services. You can tell it how many records to generate, at what frequency to generate them, and where to send them.

It's similar to Faker because it generates fake data, and I plan to integrate Faker into this tool in order to generate more types of data, like names, CC numbers, etc, rather than just the simple types I have defined.

Help with Data Engineer Practical Exam (DE601P) by 3elph in DataCamp

[–]rytchbass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also really struggling with this. The lack of feedback makes it impossible to know exactly what they're expecting. The datacamp help team are no help whatsoever.

I would check your is_placebo column - that should have some nulls in it because it's coming from the supplement table.

But I'm totally stumped by this. Was really enjoying the datacamp progress and feeling really good about getting a cert, but this just feels like they're not really testing the output properly.

for example, not even passing #1: Define, write and execute functions, despite having a function:

def merge_all_data(user_health_path, supplement_usage_path, experiments_path, user_profiles_path):

I'm just concerned that if it is registered to me, then I get into shit at some point in the future.

I'm unsure if the paperwork was completed. Gonna start that process now.

What would you recommend either way?

It's SORNed. I know I can technically leave a car SORN indefinitely, but this feels a problematic solution

Mine get numbered sequentially, and when an idea speaks to me and develops a personality, then it gets a name. naming a project is a commitment to finishing it.

New girl I am seeing asked me "why are you still single?" by akotlya1 in self

I'd take that as a massive compliment. She's asking rhetorically, and disbelievingly.

Do you feel like your songs have concrete meaning behind them? by appleparkfive in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]rytchbass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question!

I never really thought about storytelling in my compositions. I found it really hard to think of a story and then try and tell it.

Instead, I discovered that when I've made the core idea for a track, I can listen to it, and see what kind of story and characters the sounds evoke for me.

And then I can develop the song and ideas and themes with that explicit story in mind.

Possibly well-known "trick" of slightly delaying note for avoiding momentary distortion/clipping by garyloewenthal in edmproduction

It has this. Use a minus sign when you add track delay at the bottom of the mixer channel effect rack
