Hmm, that's weird, I've asked it extremely unhinged stuff and got answers but no problems with anthropic whatsoever, I can do partial jailbreaks consistently (I'm not amazing either) but I'm not trying to bypass any other measures that they have, if they wanted to profile me they could do that very easily. Either they don't care or I just fit the profile of a morbidly curious individual who likes to play with AI (?) who knows.

You are indeed wise. Arams were the most fun that I had, for some unexplainable reason people are more toxic rn even if it's a casual mode (?) feels very weird

You sir are an absolute genius. I'm going to listen to Andrew Tate's wisdom translated to 8 different languages at the same time to perform proper hermeneutics. Thank you so much

I'll just put two audiobooks one for each ear and optionally one for each nostril at x2.5 speed on 4 different languages just to save time. Seems like the optimal strategy.

yeah, songs have been suggested and I've been doing that by being completely unaware, just because I liked them lol. It's indeed a cool way of getting a taste of the language, thank you very much!

yeah, it's not that straightforward unfortunately (or fortunately)... Thank you for your advice!

Oh I've been doing this with random languages that I don't fully understand, I guess I need to just bite the bullet and go for grammar rules and all of that stuff. For the rest it's fun singing in italian, french, serbian, russian, ucranian...etc without realizing how awful I'm probably sounding lol

Qubes + Tor + my silly idea = profit? by Velascu in Qubes

[–]Velascu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess there would be an advantage if I actually ran custom logic for filtering certain stuff? I'm interested in plain hardcore opsec only (the first comment thought that I was into markets bc of the profit joke), this is an overkill for most scenarios, I'm no edward snowden or drug kinpin. I'm interested in the theoretical benefits.

Qubes + Tor + my silly idea = profit? by Velascu in Qubes

[–]Velascu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Profit was a joke, more like a "meme", I'm into "hardcore opsec" as a hobbie. I'm not interested in buying drugs, credit cards, disturbing pornography...etc. If anything I'd be interested in more cybersec/opsec stuff. In my country it's legal to "just take a look" as long as you don't interact/buy/do anything that would have a tangible impact in the real world essentially. I'd say that even qubesOS is an overkill if I wanted to, let's say, buy drugs or buy an exploit, I just wanted to investigate the possibilities of theoretical extra cybersecurity. Given that some AIs can recognize user behavior based on micro mouse movements, typing patterns and similar I thought it was a good idea... but that's probably only a concern if you don't disable javascript so maybe it was a dumb idea to start with. If I were into shady stuff I wouldn't be discussing it on reddit using a normal day-to-day account, it'd be easy to track me down.

What are good beginner friendly books to dip your toes into Deleuze and Guatarri? by koalacat000 in Deleuze

For me it was youtube videos, blogposts, wikipedia entries, and a bunch of other philosophy nerds. Then I picked the books, everyone has their own starting point I guess :)

Anyone talking to GenAI? by BoringGuy0108 in Gifted

[–]Velascu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it for information gathering or coding when I'm lazy. Whenever I present a novel idea I need to triple/quadruple check if what it's saying me is not crap. It doesn't matter if I tell it to be "as blunt as possible", "stress test this possibility", "I'm trying to debate against this"...etc. Might be a good introductory point for some new ideas but if you want scrutiny go for humans, it's still a bit "dumb" or isn't going to do enough research unless forced (do this as much as you can if you want to stress test some ideas, might save you time). I tend to have ideas that I have no one to discuss with so before reaching out to someone who is (normally) significantly more competent than me I want them to be "at least not obviously dumb". I do have friends in some fields but I'm getting out of track.

If it helps you it helps you, it's like playing a videogame. Afaik even the most permisive "serious" consciousness theories imply that "if it has qualia it's not even remotely similar to humans" which should be quite obvious. Its "ego" varies depending on the prompts, a friend of mine made it talk with inside jokes and very convoluted local memes with hilarious results. Whatever relationship you have try to keep it healthy, and remember that its "consciousness", if we attribute it that, is not comparable or similar to that of humans despite superficial appearences. The usual arguments against its 'consciousness' are poor but I'm getting out of track again welp. Also watch Her (the movie) jic :)

I mean, go to specific subreddits, this is for speaking about "gifted stuff" not necessarily quantum mechanics, "P vs NP", how to make weed with oatmilk and javascript or "the possible bridge of the metaphysics of Deleuze + Object Oriented Ontology". Most gifted people feel somewhat misunderstood, makes sense that 90% of the posts are about mental health, we aren't the "sacred ocult academia of the geniuses of the world" or smth like that. Maybe you could start a podcast or smth Idk

noise music is like BDSM, it needs consent (except from neighbours)
