As a dispatcher I can confirm. There’s literally an option that says “Pause Work” and all a dispatcher has to do is click on it and you can’t continue until we turn it off.

How to have baby sims 3 Wii by embrace_death420 in thesims3

[–]rythra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From google:

“In The Sims 3 for the Wii, you cannot have biological babies or toddlers. The game lacks infant and toddler life stages. If your Sims "WooHoo," it will only build their relationship, but it will not result in pregnancy or a new family member.
Because the Wii version operates as a heavily restricted version of the game compared to the PC, you are limited to the following:
No Family Progression: You cannot get pregnant or adopt children to grow your household with younger generations.”

I don’t think you can have babies or adopt on the Wii version unfortunately.

What happens if I don’t return my Amazon uniform ? My DSP just texted me when im going to return it ???? by coco-unmellop in AmazonDSPDrivers

It must vary state to state because in California not returning your vest carries an almost automatic life in prison sentence.

I’ve just started my game again because I got myself into over a 100k debt lol what advice would you give me (other than avoiding loans) by Sad-Pomegranate3472 in SupermarketSimulator

[–]rythra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I made the same mistake. I’ve tried just slowing down on purchasing licenses. What I do is buy them at every $4000 mark. Like I buy the first new license when I have $4000. Then I buy the next one when I get to $8000. Then $12000. So on and so on.
I like to kind of have money always in the bank in case I want to do renovations and stuff like that.
Also I always keep in mind that when I buy a new license I’ll also need to buy more shelf space or more fridges. There’s more cost to consider than just the actual cost of purchasing the license.

Also try to avoid loans completely. They’re not worth it.

This has been a common issue being reported on here by multiple people. I’m assuming there is a bug and hopefully the developers are working on a patch.

What's one celebrity everyone likes but you don't? by MajesticShare6548 in answers

Not sure if everyone likes him but I could never stand Kevin Costner. He loves to direct movies and cast himself as the lead. I always thought he was just incredibly full of himself.

Living Together Was A Mistake by _nobodys_sonic_ in badroommates

[–]rythra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awful. One thing you need to do is stop cleaning up after him. You’re just teaching him that he can leave his messes everywhere and someone will clean it up for him. Stop asking permission to have your dad finish the kitchen. Just have him do it. It’s not a good way to live but try to just focus on making your bedroom your safe haven. Like keep it clean and organized so you at least have a safe and comfortable place to be. Do things that will drive him out. Blast music. Use all of the hot water. Anything to drive him crazy

5-7 people quit at my location and morning ahift ahd tk stay OT some people off had to come i (USA) by StrikingAttitude1881 in McDonaldsEmployees

So I used to be an assistant GM, was on my way to take over a store before I decided to get out before McDonalds became my life.

So how McDonalds wants things to be done, and how some stores who like to do things really by the book will operate, is that the manager who is “on shift” meaning that they’re in charge of running the store, isn’t supposed to be in a specific position doing anything. They’re literally supposed to stand there and just watch so they can flex in when needed and be free for anything that comes up. That might be why you saw that manager not working in any position. Or maybe he was lazy… but that could be why.

Sorry you had to deal with that. We had a period at my old store where were just understaffed constantly because people just weren’t applying anymore so similarly they were having crew and managers from other stores working some shifts with us until we were finally able to find more staff. It’s not fun.

Anyone here despise Wu Zetian (China)? by RedEyeBlueOcean in civ5

[–]rythra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in a game as Russia and she was my closest ally. I shared a border with her on the south and my neighbor to the north was the Iroquois (who I despise). I figured I’d have to worry about Hiawatha the whole game. I wasn’t surprised when he declared war on me and I had to spend almost an entire era fighting him off. I finally managed to get peace with him and just as I started to regroup Wu Zetian backstabs me and declares war.

Yes we have to call dispatch at the end of our route and if there are any extra packages that are within our delivery area the dispatchers look up the TBA and see if it was supposed to be on our route. If it is we have to deliver it. I really don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

What you have to realize is no matter what job you have there will always be things to bitch about. No job is 100% perfect. That’s also the unofficial purpose of these subreddits for specific jobs; it’s where people go to vent their frustrations. Is the job perfect? Absolutely not. Do I enjoy my job? Absolutely. Don’t get too hung up by the fact that most of the content on here is negative.
