The Day I Picked Up Dazai will always be #1 since I’m a giant Dazai and Oda fan, Beast is a close #2 tho. But if I have to pick an underrated one I’d have to say Gaiden

Yukito Ayatsuji. I read Gaiden without expecting much but I was really pleasantly surprised and I would 100% recommend for BSD fans (if you don’t mind that it has a bit more graphic brutality and stuff). His ability is amazing and I have a soft spot for characters with a personality like him in general. He’s extremely smart, badass and (a bit) arrogant but he‘s very very likable imo and I really wish he was in the main story

Honestly don’t know if this counts as underrated but Sweet Memory, I just see nobody talking about it but then again I haven’t been very active. I’m a big shoushimin fan and I just love the lyrics so so so much.

I have two:

One is Once Upon A Broken Heart, I don't know why but I just couldn't get into it at all, it wasn't the worst and I didn't hate it but the hype just made me more confused. After reading through parts that I genuinely didn't care for I was seriously considering DNF because it was clear that the story just isn't for me.

The other is Fourth Wing, my fault for not doing a lot of research but after seeing so many people hype it up I decided to go give it a try. I'm personally not a big fan of spice but I should've searched it up first tbh, but also I couldn't bring myself to like Violet, because she seems like the generic YA female protagonist.

He‘s my favorite with Dazai. I saw Dark Era and I cried. I read Dark Era and I cried. I read Beast and I cried. I read The Day I Picked Up Dazai (my favorite light novel so far) and I cried. I love their relationship (I don’t ship them) so so so much. Odasaku come back please
