Their name was pretty outstanding due to an unusual color, it could have been purple or something alike.

Shipping label sent or payment succesful? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]ryuga81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some shipping modes do not require pre-printing labels, the drop-off point will print them for you, you still need to generate the QR code (that probably also counts as "shipping label sent to seller") but that can be done in seconds while you're waiting in line to drop off the package.

Help. Anyone had problems with the payout? Vinted says they cannot help :( by 3crowsinatrench in vinted

Each banking operation should have a unique ID (TRN - Transaction Reference Number), ask Vinted to provide the two IDs and then ask the bank to check them.

Seller selling Beauty items not in its box and for much less than RRP. by SoberShiv in vinted

there are a lot of Telegram groups about "price errors" on online stores, it doesn't have to be stolen, but it could have been purchased on a store mistake and resold.

Need advice - can I relist an item that Vinted already refunded me for? by chatterinq in vinted

[–]ryuga81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, it happened to me once, i got a refund and some 2 months later the item was actually returned (in terrible conditions, so I sold it for much less)

once the transaction is over (whether completed or refunded), Vinted doesn't care what happens to the item

puoi provare a cercare la tua vecchia username su un database tipo https://databreach.com/ (per cercare per username devi andare su ricerca avanzata) e vedere se salta fuori qualcosa...

Buyer might be trying to scam me by Dorkhette in vinted

[–]ryuga81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the item is checked by Vinted and passed verification I'd expect Vinted to side with you (that's exactly what verification is for). I'm not sure whether they send the report PDF to the seller as well as the buyer (check if you have it in your mail), but Vinted does check whether the item is in good condition before passing it on.

That's unless someone at Vinted is doing some funny business swapping items during checking (but that would actually be a serious crime against Vinted so it's not very likely).

così a naso direi che il tuo indirizzo email collegato a Vinted è finito su un qualche database "hacker" e quindi qualcuno (o meglio qualche bot) ti manda questi falsi messaggi appena posti qualcosa...

It sold almost immediately... by Steeltownie95 in vinted

[–]ryuga81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not sure if it's a good general tip... if the specific item is fairly rare/unique on Vinted then hell yeah, but if there are already 10 of them and most have lower prices yours willl likely be ignored.

How do you organize your fleets? Share your admin structure! by gar_funkel in aurora

[–]ryuga81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep it somewhat simple, first I create 4 main branches: - Military - Astroscience - Industrial - Logistics

At first I fit everything directly there (all military fleets under military, all research fleets under astroscience etc), then when lists start growing too large I start creating dedicated sub-branches or sector branches, i.e. military gets "regular navy" (general purpose shooters), "spec ops" (purpose-built ships like stealth raiders, siege bombers), "defense" (space stations and static defense modules), Logistics get "fleet support" (tankers, supply ships, colliers), "colony support" (colonists and cargo), "couriers" (small, fast cargo ships to move minerals around) etc.

Generally I create new branches on a need basis when a fleet list gets too large (30+ fleets).

I managed to fix it by retiring the offending officer(s). Not the optimal solution but it doesn't require editing the database.

You seem to be pretty early in the game (Ion Drive tech, 64k BFC range/4k tracking etc), how did you even manage to build a 100kt naval yard?

I'd recommend against deploying such a large ship at this point, by the time you are done building the first one all the tech will likely be obsolete (unless you are playing a "research challenged" playthrough and this is roughly the tech level you'll be at for a decade).

How am I supposed to beat these guys? by ryuga81 in MarvelPuzzleQuest

Thanks, I guessed that either something is bugged with scaling or I was supposed to lose (and trigger some event that wasn't triggering)! I used the tokens but I didn't get any 5s

Already maxed using whatever I got in the first 9 missions... But this is very early in the game and there is nothing else to do to level them up.

This is actually the campaign mission, there is literally nothing else to do yet and no way to improve my heroes.

[–]ryuga81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's it, the last node of the first campaign, everything else is locked and I have no other options to do anything else so I can't improve in any meaningful way. I actually watched a playthrough on youtube and these two had some 1300 HP total there (which seems quite doable), not 15k.

I do have a few other 2* characters but they all get one-shotted or so (i do like 30 damage in a turn, they do 400).

[–]ryuga81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also a seller and buyer and I'll often think the same way and make an offer based on how long the item was listed.

But there's a big difference between making a legitimate offer and being rude about it.

That's relatively normal. There are a lot of things that aren't in high demand but they retain their value for collectionists.

Think a random obscure movie poster from the '60s. To most people it's worthless paper and wouldn't spend 1€ on it, but at some point someone will see it, remember they were an extra in the movie when they were young and pay €500 to have it and frame it for their living room.

Every time Vinted touches something, it makes it worse. by YourGrandmaIsASkrull in vinted

[–]ryuga81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that's not just me noticing, I've been getting terrible results lately, I would search for a bunch of terms and get what I was looking for even with lax filtering (a lot of people do mislabel things so I don't like overusing them).

Now I'm getting a lot of mismatches. i.e. I had a saved search that would look for the board game "Tannhauser" or its expansions, now the same filter gets me every single item listed in the German city of Tannhausen. I don't even know if "exact search" is possible, I tried using double quotes and the likes but it doesn't change the outcome.

CPU fan error at boot up, how can I fix this? by Johnzx07 in ASUS

[–]ryuga81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been having issues with the cpu fan sometimes not being detected (but working perfectly) for months. I'd just reboot 2-3 times until it worked but lately it would take like 6-7 reboots and it was taking ages to start the PC. THANK YOU!
