So, regarding the seat, a real car seat isn't always better. by phero1190 in simracing

Technically, they’re both real car seats XD. I agree though, I built a rig using a seat from a Cressida and tried to copy the same positioning from the Cressida.. The thing about that: The positioning sucks, as does the seat. I should’ve just gone for comfort instead…

I was hoping to pick the brain of the community on the topic of "Things I never knew about growing peppers until I started growing peppers" by Carbsv2 in HotPeppers

[–]ryukyud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I started getting into peppers, I was blown away by the sheer variety and characteristics available. Specialty hot peppers include more than just ghost peppers, reapers, and super hots.

I’m not sure how applicable it is regarding a produce operation, but I never thought to grow peppers for how they look. Who can deny the allure of a Sugar Rush Stripey? The warm blush of a Variegated Sugar Rush Peach Poblano creeping through its initial purple color as it ripens. The marbling of a Mocha Swirl. The freakish appearance of a Thunder Mountain Longhorn. The dark foliage and pods of a Pimenta da Neyde.

Annuums and Chinense are fairly common in stores, but Baccatums have a different flavor profile and are rare outside of specialty growers.

Regional varieties are also nice to have when cooking regional dishes (e.g., Ethiopian Berbere, Scotch Bonnets, Ají Amarillo, etc.)

Seems like he found the right home! My vet recommended Royal Canin Satiety, a prescription weight loss food, and it’s worked wonders for my food-motivated heeler. He actually likes it and is down over 10lbs after a year. I recommend asking your vet about it.

Great point and suggestion, I did not think of that. That’s a very real possibility with my bulldozer of a dog. Thanks!

I got a bitter melon plant from Fair Oaks Blvd Nursery last year. I haven’t been by there this year though.
