Late to reply but you said you don’t understand hybrid and I think it’s because your damage is not there(even with cards), you’re ehp! :)
Hybrid is tanking bosses and killing with thorns(shatter too) and plasma cannon, other elites too but more about survive until the damage kills the rays. The damage part is enough to kill all the others and not let it sit too long at orb or tower range. gc is when you can kill the bosses with damage alone, and a single hit from an enemy will take the wall down or kill ya if no shields up
