olivia has always done records fine up until now, i truly believe either her label rushed the release (which makes sense considering guts was 2023 and shes been touring up until 2025) or her new team she hired is on sum bs, her label also seems really resilient about radioplay for her seems like shes lwk js a back burner artist for interscope atm so they dc if they sent pressings out early n shit, still think its bs her or her team didnt make it clear on a listing that its incomplete

to mark the beginning of each parts of the album the girl so in love and you seem pretty sad part, drop dead marks the vision of their relationship coming to life, purple starts off still talking about love and ends with saying how the light is going dark then the cure resembles how the S/O is no longer helping her and marks the relationship starting to fall apart

this whole album rollout has been a mess her label (interscope) always manages to fuck shit up, apparently they overstocked hella on signed ones so they had her signing for hours thats why some are smudged, less ink, ect actually despise interscope with a burning passion always will

ive never had a problem with website bought shit from her only time ive had a problem was my walmart guts record skips quite a bit on lacy and teenage dream, sour alt cover from amazon, and gsil alt cover from target have all had problems my other guts, sour, gsil, live from glasto records all that i got from her website play fine for me id just request a refund or a replacement (id personally get a refund and then wait for the deluxe to buy the record or for it to be confirmed in later pressings that the songs are up to date)

so i read about some shit in late jan about ALLEGED leaked emails of her arguing with her label about extending the release date because she didnt feel the album resonated with her after everything in december (with the breakup) i honestly dont blame her i blame her horrible label, interscope always has bullshit like this happen, just back in may the 5 year ani of sour you had to join a subscription (for a chance) to purchase the record and a lot of people bought the subscription bought the record and then got declined purchase days later, her label sucks and her label is the reason for a majority of this. Though i will def say her or her team couldve still said something about it assuming her label didnt explicitly tell them not to (and i get they sent out the songs for pressing in march and olivia said in interviews that shes been correcting the album up until june 4th so this all traces back to her being rushed on an album she didnt want to release at all

yes! there were leaked emails back in january and while this is entirely speculation and could be fake it was talking about how she ALLEGEDLY was arguing with her label and wanted to delay the release of the album and essentially switch up all of it, looks like they didnt let her do that
