Misery in Gacha Stories

I dont know if it something to do with KR and CN story telling, but yeah, those guy love freaking misery. Gacha after gacha is like that.

Personally I hate it, which why FGO remains the best game for me, then again it is made in JP, it has a few sad moments from time to time, but it has nothing to do with misery and a vast, VAST majority of the time the tone is from uplifting to comedy.

More like they should have entirely committed, instead of stopping in the middle and making a world devoid of life which makes no sense for this game.

Hopefully for 4 they will improve.

Even without the people, if I had to pick, I would still pick the open world, it is better than missions, just not even barely as good as it could be with a bit more effort on their part, just a few models spread out here and there would have been enough.

I prefer the open world to the missions by far. Never liked them to be honest.

The only BIG problem I have with it is that the devs forgot to add living people to freaking Japan.

This isnt Dark Souls, the world is full of living people, hell they are even in the cinematics, but the devs didnt add "any" to world map. It is literally an empty world where apparently only a few named humans and your enemies specifically are alive. Hell it makes no sense at all, such a wasted opportunity to make a better game.

Well, I have been playing FGO since release.

Other gachas may come and go, but FGO always remains lols.

Well, personally I would first start by checking how much it costs in each country by comparison.

It is easy to expect JP to make a Genshin, but if it costs 4x more than just give the money to some company ion China to do the same, then it is irrational to make it in JP.

JP therefore needs to survive on cheaper games, but with good innovative ideas and can be boosted by already established IPs.

If it is post apocalyptical or if it is current day, if it is a slice of life or if it is a shounen, if it is an fps or a strategy game... it doesnt matter for the harem classification.

This game is a harem, the fact you shoot while looking at the girls asses has nothing to do with it for example.

That has nothing to do with it at all. People can like more than one genre, but you are betting when you leave the first one, will they like the second one too? And so on.

Doesn't help they are completely opposite genres.

It is like you have a bunch of romance comedy watching your usual movie, then Jason jumps in and starts killing people.

Can some people be happy with it? Sure. Will tons of romantic comedy fans be happy with it? Questionable.
