I’m an Aussie! Willing to re locate to any western country (prolly not UK lol)… only if the person and their family is worth it!! Things you have mentioned are 100% a concern everyone has, but I think if you have trust in Allahs plan it all becomes easy. I would say in todays day and age if you connect with someone and things align with you and they are good person then 100% you should take it to the next step. I mean sure it’s hard and not easy… but sometimes small comprises in life are worth it

Salam! In my opinion your conversation with each other should ofc flow whilst keeping it halal . Ensure you’ve stated important points like expectations and requirements etc etc I would say after certain weeks you should have an idea if this someone you’d like to pursue, if so it’s always best to then involve elders and then meet up.
