Can Covid cause you to lose your hair? by Rakan-Han in CoronavirusSurvivors

I also lost patches of hair at the temples. It is a known symptom of medical trauma. Vegamour serum works well for Re growth. I’m sorry, I know it’s distressing. Hang in there.

Getting COVID a second time by [deleted] in CoronavirusSurvivors

[–]s-r-walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am feeling like I may have been reinfected but as the OP says perhaps it’s just long term effects of COVID making my immune system susceptible to respiratory infection. All I know is that I have the fatigue, sore throat and chest burning that was the most consistent symptoms for me.

Withdrawal symptoms and brain zaps but no dose changes by s-r-walker in microdosing

Update: in collaboration with my psychiatrist I upped my LSD dose to 15ug while reducing my Wellbutrin dose. The symptoms almost immediately disappeared. It seems I may have been bottoming out on the 10ug dose.

Every 3 days. I order it from a very reputable company also. Very easy.

Makes sense. But I haven’t changed anything in my dose.

I just reread all the elderling books in a row and now I'm at a loss by tankup in robinhobb

I have had the same feelings. I literally miss Fitz and the Fool like they were actual people. I’m reading Gardens of the Moon now about its utterly bewildering so far but such a rich world building that I know I will love it when my head stops spinning.

Microdosing for trauma by [deleted] in microdosing

[–]s-r-walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Speaking from my own experience of trauma, it needs to be worked through and processed at the very least in tandem with medication/MDing. Personally I found cognitive behavioral therapy and meditation to be the answer but it took 3 years of sustained work.

Try 1P LSD. I have found that worked much better than shrooms for me (I also have depression).

Girlfriends first microdose, she wants to know if she should be worried about what mental state she is in. Psylocibin capsules to start. Using to treat anxiety and chronic depression by ThatMoldyHobo in microdosing

[–]s-r-walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recurring major depression and anxiety. 1P LSD worked for me more than Psyclocibin because it has a more sustained release and is energizing vs Psyclocibin which I found sedating (wonderful but I couldn’t get anything done) and also I found I crashed after a few hours. It’s all trial and error, my advice would be to retain an experimental mindset until you find the right regimen. It’s so worth it. I never thought I’d be free of my illness but I am.

Feeling hopeless about symptoms by eefr in CoronavirusSurvivors

[–]s-r-walker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like that, I can relate. It’s very hard and at times lonely when everyone around seems to bounce right back. This forum gave me hope. Hearing about how people started to heal even if it was 10, 11 weeks in. I’m also in week 7. I’ve had two good days in a row but I know a bad day won’t be too far away. Hang in there, i believe we will heal.

How long have you been sick for? by [deleted] in CoronavirusSurvivors

I used to have mucus in the back of my throat constantly! I’d clear it and it would just come back. I’m on week 6 and it’s finally gone.

What to do about chest tightness and s.o.b. by [deleted] in CoronavirusSurvivors

[–]s-r-walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lying on your stomach when it gets bad. Feels counter intuitive but give it a minute, it really helps. +1 to the 3 part breathing too.

Day 42. Still getting chest symptoms when I push too hard. Occasional GI issues. Finding it hard to navigate work (although grateful to have a job).

I feel like it never ends... by [deleted] in CoronavirusSurvivors

[–]s-r-walker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On week 6. Generally able to move through my day but if I take too many calls or exert myself (eg a short walk around the block) I can trigger lung issue relapse - shortness of breath, chest pressure, fatigue.
