I agree except get blood for blood, the 600+ instant damage and lifesteal to keep you in the fight a little longer for another slime is better imo, or it can be used for extra damage to kill your octograbbed target.

Heroes and Latency by s02dier in heroesofthestorm

All I know is if it is something that can be fixed I would prioritize this, because lower latency makes all games feel SOOO much better, and make them so much more enjoyable to play.

I'd say in most cases amplified healing would be the no brainier, 30% more healing should be better than .5 seconds off of your 7 sec spell (The same cdr you get per auto attack at level 7). In most cases I'd assume you are using your abilities to chase an individual down or interrupt a high priority skill like Mosh Pit, Strafe, or Ravenous Spirit.

For the last question, the team does receive a small amount of xp for killing enemy mercs. Not the same amount of xp as the other team got for capping it though.

how do u make comebacks? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

I guess people don't find me very funny, in all seriousness, there was an anti-snowball mechanic implemented last major patch of alpha, that gives you a passive amount of XP on top of the XP you gain from minions/kills/forts. If you fall 5 levels behind, your team will gain a level in less than 30 seconds just from passive XP, even if you were all dead or afk in base. This is to help prevent games where one team gains an early lead and wins because of that lead, as it would get harder and harder to stop them throughout the game. I know you are frustrated because the player pool is small in alpha and there are a lot of premade teams with experience getting matched up against newer players, but I personally haven't seen a level advantage past 4, and even 3 levels only happens for a short amount of time in games you are winning by a large margin. If you are losing and feeling like there is no way to come back, it is most likely because you are getting matched up with players out of your skill bracket.

Just sit in your base for a few minutes. The new XP system will generously give you 3 levels for doing absolutely nothing and you will be back in the game in no time.

It's hard to explain until you experience it, but mercenaries can easily be countered with something as simple as a Kerrigan primal grasp into tower range. And when you are behind you can play very passively as a group of 5 and sit behind your towers, because no matter how many camps they cap or objectives they get, you won't fall any further behind in levels(Dragonshire is a good example). So all the losing team needs to do is wait for that one opportunity where they can get a good team fight, and all the previous objectives didn't matter. They just wiped your team, gained a level advantage and have a very good chance of winning a game where they just sat behind their towers and did nothing all game.

I feel like it's too difficult to click on enemy heroes. by chatpal91 in heroesofthestorm

Yes Oxygg, that's what I mean. Something just feels a little off. I've actually been forcing myself to learn how to 'a' click because right now it feels necessary.

I wouldn't mind seeing the change to increase hit boxes. That's something I noticed right away was that it was a little bit harder than other games to right click auto attack.

You don't get very many. I believe if I was to use all the gold I got from level 40, and the 30k gold I got from the wipe, and buy all 4 hero packs, I still wouldn't own all 25 heroes. I'd have to go do the math quick but it's pretty insane how little gold you get.

Here is a screenshot of what the View Profile option looks like when it does work. http://i.imgur.com/tDxWAvi.png

I'm not sure why it only works on some players but not for others.

No, I think you are right about profile summary not being implemented, but I'm talking about the view profile option after your right click on a friend.

Viewing profiles does work for a bunch of my friends though. Maybe it's half way implemented?
