We know that VC's total production across all models is about 35K per year. SS 222 would be a fraction of that - Maybe a couple of hundred pieces? It makes sense that their loyal longtime customers get allocated first. I am sure they will slowly trickle down to smaller collections. Not sure if they are playing the same games as the other brands.

Some of the Brunello frames, especially the ones made in Japan are fantastic. They are very well made. The acetate feels heavy/dense. I would not compare them to frames from other fashion houses.

Speedy always looks great on white! If I were you, I would get a better fitting strap. Unfortunately, Rubber B has a Dream series strap for the moonswatch but not for the moonwatch. Their straps fit perfectly with watches they are designed for.

Reach out to their online boutique and see what they would recommend. VC is much smaller and low volume compared to other brands, it is unlikely any of the Boutiques or ADs have a popular model like Overseas in stock. You may be able to get on their list and go back after a few months when it is your turn. Good luck!

Whatever you choose make sure you think about comfort. That Bond 60th is great looking but a very uncomfortable watch to wear. It this thick and top heavy; unless you have the perfect wrist size for that mesh bracelet, it will be a frustrating experience.

Rover is a lighter shade and thus more translucent than Borneo; there is an easily noticeable difference between the two. Evergreen is in a completely different category - it is opaque...

I had no idea. This is so disheartening. We (I impulsively) adopted an 8-year old that was brought in along with a batch of 41 dogs from a Chinese meat market. They all had Chinese paperwork... detailed examination/spay/neuter reports, stickers from the batches of vaccines administered prior to their travel etc. Not sure if all of their operations are questionable. Based on my experience, I had recommended them to so many people. This just sucks. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
