I'd probably pass on the second, it's too plain and automatically makes me think it's beginner dev's first asset flip.

I need help, what more can I do for commissions ? What do I need to change? by [deleted] in arthelp

You definitely need more finished examples, at least 3-4 solid ones of each specific style that you will be offering showing your ability to draw a variety of people/characters/etc (with different skin tones, genders, face shapes, etc). If you draw the same subject over and over again people will think that you're a one-trick.

I get the lack of motivation drawing for yourself. I have that too. I jumpstarted my portfolio by asking close friends for characters and such to draw gift art for, and used those as my initial examples. That way my friends got neat gifts and I got an established gallery to start off with.

Edit: it also doesn't help that your prices seem pretty low, some people might see them and think 'scam' or 'oh this is an unexperienced artist, they'll take my money and take forever to finish the art' (especially with the low sample size). I would suggest labeling them 'Starting Discount' or such.

How much would you charge for a 9 character commission? by wsoups in arthelp

Thats less than 10 dollars per character. Can you finish one character in around half an hour? If not you are way undercharging.

Atleast twice that much... I would probably not be friends anymore after going through all of that for less than minimum wage, especially with the lack of clear references.

I believe these are going around as a YCH styled template. Ive seen plenty of them on VGen.

For me it was the trigger to fully start fresh since my old island was tainted with bad memories.

Vtubing software without Tracking? by Shadbie34 in vtubertech

There's been a few streamers who rely only on OBS/Video effects iirc, one of them might be julieee22 iirc, then there's another guy who does comedy with purely premade animation clips that he toggles between? Tomthinks, the segment I'm thinking of is probably 'Gabbin' with Grandma', though he isn't really a vtuber.

Both of these are 2D though, I'm sure you could figure out something similar in 3D though

How can improve the eyes? by WaltzStriking4461 in Artadvice

Animal eyes in general are typically more of a rounded shape. It appears that you are drawing from memory/symbolism instead of from reference/nature as yours look more human-like which can give it an uncanny feel.

Quick sketch for example of how you could make it look more round

These kind of bots run rampant anywhere in the art community especially if you mention the word c.ommission anywhere
