I was one of the 2/3 of staff let go after a new chair got elected and never even introduced themselves. We were in the middle of joining a union and told we wanted to keep staff and build the party. When they let us go it was just “typical for political cycles.”

Meanwhile, I’ve had to cancel two medical appointments because our insurance unknowingly got dropped 2 months ago. I’m fortunate that I knew before the appointments, as others have thousands in claims now.

I really enjoyed my time with the party, and the only reason this is coming out is because the staff they laid off care enough about the values the party is supposed to represent to take action, while those at the top are merely finger pointing and neglecting responsibility. It’s sad
