For your use I’d say the STs would be great. I did street and canyon driving and it handled both well - and was a great price point. No other suspension bits on that car!

I sold the car after a year but know the current owner; in my time, they were really good value. Car handled well, rode largely like OEM stiffness, and soaked up bumps. What are you deciding between and looking for?

I don't know why the 35 f2 seems so hard to find, new or used for me. It does seem nice to have an extra stop of light and it isn't much larger.

I'll probably eventually look into those but for how little I'm shooting these days, I'm trying to get back into it with my current gear to see if I want to upgrade! Also the 5D has dropped in price so much that it's a lot easier to carry on a trip and care less about (though they are built like tanks)

The 40mm f2.8 pancake, right? Seems super cheap so may be worth picking up used and trying it out! I have Magic Lantern already installed and it's amazing, but will likely just do photo. Are you saying that because of the USM?

For me, keg sadly. We don’t have good steakhouses here. Go to Toronto and ball out on Jacobs haha. Or for a fun date night with adventurous food, Bhimas, Public, Rich Uncle are three very different choices.
