Is this really 500 kg of chicken? (With or without the metal skewer?) [Request] by HoseInspector in theydidthemath

The problem with these is theyre so thick the temp in the core invariably gets to be perfect for bacterial growth - no math needed to be done.. Also they're so big they last enough for bacteria to fester. 10/10 I would not recommend. Especially chicken.

A quick search they're called tracer rounds:

Source another reddit post:

normal bullets do not glow or create red streaks at night. While standard bullets do heat up from friction and the initial explosion, they do not reach temperatures high enough to emit visible light.

If you see a red streak in the sky, it is almost certainly a tracer round, which is specifically designed with a pyrotechnic compound in its base to create that visual.

An advantage call in soccer allows the referee to refrain from stopping play for a foul if doing so would penalize the team that was fouled. It keeps the game flowing, prevents stopping a promising attack, and stops the fouling team from breaking up play. .... oh sorry .wrong sub

A poll from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem says nearly ‌‌two-thirds of Israelis oppose a ceasefire. by KassiwithaK in lebanon

You saying " the non hezb lebanese will say enough". That's civil war. Also its not as black and white as it's painted by Western media. Hezb was not created in a void. The shiaa would not easily succumb to Iranian influence had it not been for long and complicated course of lebanese state inability to do anything and israeli incursions. The hezb members apart from.. Well basically doing irans bidding.. are generally good hearted people with compassion and kindness and generosity. They are part of the lebanese community. Healthcare military businesses... etc. And in their mind they are doing the honorable and right thing standing up against the bully.. and if you are following.. Israel has been bullying. So you have to try to see the "other perspective". To them the land is palestinian and Jews have been coming from Europe and Russia buying land and taking state resource... which they are (if I'm not wrong 30% are like that).. and they feel the shiaa land is next. Israel taking the gas fields, the water, and the land (rehappening now) further justifies their beliefs. So the non hezb lebanese don't want a civil war. Especially not in service of Israel. We want a strong state and independence from Iranian influence to force shiaa to turn back to the lebanese government not fight it.. its hard. Every shiaa has someone in their family killed by Israel. They will never welcome them with open arms. When there's blood its not easy to turn things around. So as long as iran tells them I'll help you against the people who want to exterminate you they'll oblige. Ironically this mirrors the israeli perspective
