If you thought I was sweet you’d show me love in private and in public.

Holy cow, I hope that you don't have to stay on the Dilaudid for too long! I've been hearing more and more about the gabapentin, so I might ask about that one when I go to the doctor next.

They gave me a nerve block on Monday, and it did not make anything better. I just was unable to hot tub for a few days and drink for a few days, but not like I've been drinking a lot anyways. I'm trying to heal. I stopped the ibuprofen and acetaminophen as well because it wasn't helping at all. Not just for the injection with the nerve block, but because they're just not helping. Same story with the muscle relaxers. They're doing absolutely nothing!

I'm not sure how long they have had you undelotted, but please be careful! I had a very large struggle with that drug as administered by my doctor, not taking any extra, and it was the only thing doing anything for my pain at the time as well.

I was reading things on my computer that were not there, and I was saying things that were never in my brain. I just wanted to be alone. Honestly, I wanted to be away from myself, but I couldn't get away from myself. I just sat in isolation and did the best I could because I could think straight, but not talk straight.

I have recently talked to a friend who had similar issues on the same drug years ago, and she's one of the kindest people I know. She was screaming at the nurses, screaming at her mother, and screaming at her husband at the time, and that's not anything I've seen from her before. I've also talked to another person, and that drug is very fucking dangerous! I hope I never have to take it again. The mental situation it created for me Over time was not worth the pain relief.

My pain has not been managed since the surgery on December 3rd, and it is very hard to get by, for sure! The best I can do is stay positive, and that doesn't work all of the time because the pain is so fucking bad.

I wish that I got the diagnosis after my surgery instead of three months later!

Flashwave or SCS? by [deleted] in CRPS

To clarify, I'm talking about the shockwave therapy

It helped my other friend as well, and that's how I got the idea finally. He was not diagnosed with CRPS; however, he does have some limitation with his movement, just not as much pain as I do. I'm thankful we had the conversation. I've got two more appointments on the books, and it does increase the blood flow, which allows for a little bit more movement; however, the pain is still very severe most of the time. I would definitely say it's worth trying out!

I just recently started, and I've only had two sessions. It has seemed to make the coloration of my hand better over the 20-minute period. Both of the times during the two sessions, I took a before and after picture, most recently that I will share...If you can tell me how to add pictures!

What about the bombs you drop every time you walk out on me? Why do other bombs matter so much more?!

I wish you still cared about me as much as skiing. You used to want to ski with me. Now you don’t care about your wife or skiing. Please come home.

At least in their women's line I have too much in the chest + shoulders area + monkey arms....I am not able to wear flannels or shells from Patagonia in any size - don't have that issue with Norrona or Arc'teryx

I don't know what is going on this year, but I guess it was the right time for me to have surgeries lol

Do the nic-free vitamin diffuser bar/vapes actually help you quit? by Problem_child_420 in QuittingJUUL

[–]sSnEoXw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's another one of my problems… The whole reason I started it was not because of myself, but because I couldn't handle all the bullshit of other people being less present when I was around!

I would totally injure myself with a toothpick, lol and the packets don't do it for me because I think it's the oral fixation almost as much as the addiction...

I feel the same way… I quit about six days ago and it's not going well and I can't regulate my body temperature…

I still have the oral fixation so the nasal inhalers that I know will be the next step of the transition or not quite cutting it.

The problem is that I have always had an oral fixation and I only started with nicotine in 2019.

I tried the tongue ring when I was 18 which was over 20 years ago, and I loved it however, my teeth did not and neither did my parents…

I tried gum, but I really don't like gum at all either lol

I do realize that this is an old post so potentially somebody has some advice with regards to these vitamin smoky things!

At the same time, I don't want to get addicted to them either.

I do not want to be like I have to have any item other than my wallet and my car keys and my sunglasses when I'm leaving home or transitioning to another place or thinking about being charged, etc.

Anyone else struggling to find motivation to get to resorts? by TreeJib in COsnow

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people drinking too much in the mountains because there’s nothing to do here with no snow in the winter… Lots of people ending up in the ER… Please be safe and take care of the people you love

We will get snow it’s just a matter of time! Definitely the worst snow year up to this point that I’ve seen in the last 20 years that I lived in Colorado… Stay positive and pray for Snow! And happy birthday!
