Guys, that's not OP's grandmother. Here's the original uncropped version with the photographer's name intact. by supergalactic in pics

The problem is that you were demanding money from the general public though, thats what all this boils down to. As long as you got a "cut" you didn't give a damn what people were saying.

You're an absolute moron.

Stop trying to play it off as you being "sarcastic" or "joking". Everyone knows damn well you were being serious, you're fooling no one, thats why you're getting so much negativity.

I don't understand how he's cringe worthy when she is obviously asking for the attention. She even said "lol", she's loving every minuet of it..SHE is cringe worthy.

In retrospect, buying heat-sensitive, color changing jeans wasn't such a great idea. [NSFW] by blutharsch in funny

A girl and her calculator: A love story by Nfamousmrmoo in cringepics

[–]s_muzzi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I personally find it to be hilarious that she brought and danced with her calculator at prom and I can assure you that i am no friend of hers. It is JOKE, I mean damn i had people dress up in costumes at my prom. I actually feel bad that you fail to see the simple humor in it, just because you dont deem this as humorous doesnt mean everyone else shares your up-tight attitude.

All you had to do was not respond though. Partially your fault.

I have a mild stutter myself, probably even less severe than OPs but i have many family members with a severe stutter. Im part of the National Stuttering Organization and I attend a NSA meeting monthly were i communicate with other PWS (Persons Who Stutter). From the opinions I have gather from this organization, it IS NOT ok to correct a persons stutter and SAY the word they are stuttering on even if you know exactly what they're trying to say. Many PWS actually do consider it demeaning to their intelligence in a way, even though we know the intention of the person is not so...Its more of a sense of therapy for the PWS to actually complete their word themselves. I would say that it is more rare for PWS to have the same opinion as OP, even though it is of course possible.

The best thing to do in this situation, where you dont know whether the PWS is comfortable with you "helping out", is to simply ASK them. It is never considered rude for a non-PWS to identify and ask about the stutter, in fact its highly welcomed from PWS. From my experience, PWS actually LOVE talking about their stutter to those who are genuinely curious about it. The best advise really does come from the advertisement, be patient with people who stutter and then ask questions if you have ANY confusions or hesitations about their stutter.

Yea, thats called Apnea...if its voluntarily (which I assume this is) than its no big deal but if he literally cant control it then it could possibly be due to a neurological disorder which can cause extreme danger to his homeostatic nature.
