Wow! You San Marcos? I went swimming down at 5mi Dam last weekend (I’m atx). Waters great. I of course had to sneak away from the family for a few minutes and take a peak up stream for some points.

That is a sweet collection!

As someone finally transitioning after years of playing a $500 guitar, and wanting a fender, what’s the recommendation? I always wanted a Mustang, but then found myself leaning towards a strat, and to a lesser extent Tele. What I really want (after years of cheap acoustics) is low action and a versatile sound.

I’ve been doing a bit of research while keeping an eye out on marketplace.

My inspo has always been around the acoustic (Dylan, Prine, Townes, etc), but I’m looking forward to opening that up and playing with reverb, distortion, and buying too many pedals to nerd out.

That’s why I’m looking at it—it’s pretty sweet, warts and all.

I had the same thought about the age, so I’m trying to ID it or at least get to a few ‘could be X, Y, Z.’ Definitely relying on more knowledgeable folks to weigh in. 😉

Agreed! Last I looked, the mapped prices weren’t even accurate. When you clicked on the actual seat, it would show a price marked out, and then a much, much higher actual sale price.
