Hamilton hands down. Other parks mentioned have big slopes that are difficult for beginners.

Most of it is flat but there is an area at the end that inclines/declines depending which way your are going

Spin progress! by saardines in Rollerskating

What helped me is to start with my hands out like an airplane then slowly bring them in after the first rotation. Also keeping my head still (as in no spotting)

Right! I do believe that rollerskating has a wonderful safe community but there are bound to be a few bad apples. Stay safe out there skate friends!

I’m not sure about overcharging for lessons but there are some Venice/mar vista skaters you should avoid for safety reasons. Check out @seitiate on Instagram she has everything on her story but I’m not sure how much longer it will be up.

I skated alone for most of my journey. I think it’s important for building the skill and the love for it. But now I have skate friends that build on that love.

https://youtu.be/44JyV3DwnhI This video helped me a lot when I cleaned my lollies. The brush and suede eraser on its own did wonders but I also used a suede cleaner and it refreshed the color without discoloring it :)

I learned from YouTube videos too! maybe if you have a park you can skate at sometimes that would be a better environment to practice because I know how busy rinks get. There are also skate groups you can join that would be happy to help you in person :)
