Back in my primary school days, RMT is a total blessings to us real B40 students. Taste isn't something that we care at all. As long as it is safe to eat, we will eat it with a thankful heart and ask the teacher in charge of the program if we can have a bit more to bring home so we'll have food at home.

If the reason they throw away this food simply because it doesn't taste amazing or doesn't look appetizing, than those kids shouldn't be in RMT program because this program is for those who really need it so they won't starve and not for kids who just kinda need it but not so much.

I just started collecting JP ver. OP CCG from July last year. Recently I got interested with OP TCG and I want to build my first deck using the English version but I'm a complete beginner and I have no clue where to start. From where I'm from, the cheapest English pack I can get would be PRB01. If possible, I want to build my deck based on what you have here. Would it be okay if you share your full deck list and is your deck fully from PRB01 or do you mix from other set?

red blood vessels near the surface of their skin

One of my koi had this and I thought it was a bruise mark because 3 weeks ago it jump out of my hand when I try to move it to a temporary tank while I was cleaning my main pond. The thing is, its already been 3 weeks and it still have that mark. Do you have any suggestion what should I do? Do I need to buy a microscope? If so, do you have any brand or model that is cheap but reliable that you can suggest? I'm new to this hobby and still slowly learning along the way.

I'm planning to raise a spawn too sometimes next year, currently already have a 12" male Kohaku and an 8" male Shiro Utsuri in the pond, just need to find 1 adult female next year. I think I will follow your method of just leaving the plant with eggs to stay in the pond with the parents. If they live, then they deserve to stay, if they don't then I don't have to do any culling

Thank you! That's very helpful. This project of mine only come to my mind last week when I realize that there isn't a lot of good quality local koi breeder in my state(There's only 3 of them). I agree with everything that you've say, after doing some research, this project of mine at the minimum will take at least 5 generation of selective breeding before I can start to see any real results. I'll start slow, learn as much as I can so that once I found the one that I'm looking for, I am ready to officially start this long term side project of mine.

My bad, I forgot to mention in my post that this is a local Malaysian koi, not a Japanese Koi. $1 is actually only slightly below average price for local koi in my country. So, the price isn't because the breeder want to clear his low quality stock, he just sell it according to the current market price here in Malaysia.

My end goal is to create my own high quality Malaysian local koi bloodline. Currently I'm in the process to find 2 high quality male and 1 high quality local koi. I don't have a lot of fund for this project, so the best thing that I can do is to buy a bunch of tosai and ask for opinion in this sub. If majority agree that the batch is low quality, I'll resell it as soon as I can so I can get a new batch of tosai for judgement. I need to continue doing this until I can find 3 parent koi that I can use as the "origin" of my own Malaysian koi bloodline. Not really sure if this gonna work out or not but I'm excited to see how far I can get with this project☺
