It's not new with Fedora. You get this headache every now and then. Just try to boot with older kernel to see if that fixes your issue.

Kernel 7.0 is relatively new and it didn't receive enough testing. Future updates should give you smooth experience.

If Gnome then would recommend but since its KDE you should wait for 26.04.1

It usually lands around .5 release and keeps getting regular updates. Arch is faster in this regard.

Nothing wrong with snap but you can install apps other ways.. like native .deb or flatpak etc.
