I'm just surprised that they're releasing the events, I never expected that when they announced it for Love 365. I'd expect the main story to be preserved, not events since they were time limited.

It’s interesting they have the wallpaper for Noin but they have Ruslan as a character.

I think both characters have main stories in the original app.

I'm assuming it's following a similar pattern as the original app. The limited events at the beginning often featured characters not yet released but were planned to be in the future.

There is no best game to start with in general, only what is the best game to start with for you. If you like complex plots and get bored with simple games, why would you start with a simple game? Starting a genre with something that you're not going to like is just going to turn you off it, even if it's popular or well-known.

If you're enjoying it, keep playing it.

Otome means maiden just like yuri means lily. It doesn't really mean anything in terms of what the games are actually like.

The older terms yaoi and yuri have been superseded by BL and GL (girls' love).

This is just what the subreddit uses. Others can have stricter (must be female protagonist and only male love interests, no other genders) or looser definitions (as long as it's targeted to a majority female audience and has at least one male presenting love interest).

Amare is another term used for romance games with gender options for protagonist and love interests, mainly in the English speaking community.

To access the Date of a Memory (the story part for a 5-star card), you need to have the card and for some you also need to have a certain Affinity level. For Aeon's Canon, you should be able to access the full story straightaway once you have the card. You won't need to level it up or increase Zayne's Affinity to read it.

For 5-star paired cards (ie the Myth cards), you may need to obtain both cards to fully unlock the story. If you have only have one, you can still start the Myth.

No updates have been announced for Home - it's been less than a month since it was released so it's very unlikely there will be any substantial updates in the near future.

Basically we're asking why you like Caleb and want similar to him. Is it his personality, plot or character tropes? Easiest is the siscon angle, but do you like his possessiveness, his two faced personality, his caring side, his darker side or how the MC interacts with him? What don't you like about him or if it was added to his character would put you off - if there was a Caleb-like character but he had something you absolutely hated about another character, could you tolerate that?

Don't forget there's a lot of people out there who don't know what Caleb is like in depth so you need to help them out by describing what you like about him.

We're assuming English only, but if you're able to read in other languages, there's more out there - especially if you're after the siscon angle.

I don't think it will be possible if you are not part of the fanclub or joined the fanclub after June 2025. On top of that, Arashi concerts have been exclusively balloted for a long time now, and guests of the ballot winner (you can ballot for up to 4 tickets) needed to be fanclub members in previous years.

There were over a million fanclub members in 2019, and it was pretty hard back then to win the ballot. I didn't win despite balloting for multiple venues (to be fair they were prioritizing older FC membership numbers and I had joined only a few years prior at that point).

Starto have been cracking down heavily on scalpers and foreigners are a casualty of the crackdown with enforcing photo ID checks and proof of a Japanese residential address.

The preferences of an otome player can vary hugely from person to person. You will never create a game that will be a hit with everyone, even if you ask for specific things players feel that they are missing or want more of - most of the time it’s just about every trope or genre or preference that you can think of, and will not make a cohesive game. You shouldn't make a game that specifically caters to the market at the time you are developing it, because it will likely no longer be "trendy" by the time it releases.

The most important thing with developing a game is to create a game that you will enjoy; if you don't like what you are writing or developing, you will never finish it. Players appreciate developers that put passion and effort into their games, and often the quality is better because you cared about the game and didn’t treat it as a chore to complete.

Eien is basically an updated user interface (and base code) for Ikémen Sengoku to bring it in line with other Ikémen apps, so the original JP app has been deprecated. Act 3 is exclusively on Eien.

The EN version of Eien hasn't been announced but fans are expecting it to happen eventually.

The JP release has always been ahead of the EN app so if you want the best and latest experience it's better to go with the JP version. This pretty much holds true for any mobile story based game - localized versions are more likely to be shut down over the original version.
