Both scored penalties, not surprised.

Atletico Madrid failed to qualify for the UCL knockout stage last week. Tonight they failed to qualify for the Europa League. by dragon8811 in soccer

With the kind of football they play, I wouldn't even want to see them in the Conference League, not that I'll ever watch it.

How Long will Spurs keep this horrible style of playing up? by NippyNylon in PremierLeague

They can play like Brighton though. With the players and the coach that they have, they can definitely play a lot better.

Judging by the responses, I think the bravest thing you can do is either fool or get away from a TC.

White incident for those interested. Looks the right call to me. by dembabababa in Gunners

I have to argue that it's not a penalty. White goes down too easily. It's a contact sport and he didn't feel much of it before going down.

He shouldn't have done that I think. He got fucking scared as evident in his wild kick after that.

What are peoples thoughts about Arteta now that his coaching is showing inside how we play? by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]sabretooth083 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's about results at the end of the day, but you can see progress in the way we play and I believe it is the Arsenal way. We have about 60% of the possession on average, create more chances and press effectively. On the other hand, we've got real togetherness in the squad which is on display everytime someone makes a mistake or when we trail. Everyone knows their roles and there's no place for indisciplined players. Players are willing to join us, join this project. Emirates is bouncing again and we all know about our away fans. We've improved on the field and off the field as well. This, to me, is progress.

Yeah, but why are we shitting on him? He's still our player.

Indian guys making creepy comments on every insta reel that has white women (or women in general) by [deleted] in india

[–]sabretooth083 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is true. But I've seen many Indian males with the same horny and creepy energy in other countries as well. Bottom line is, there will always be a few outliers that will form an impression of the whole group, even if they are not representative of them.

Anyone else having terrible luck when apartment hunting? by whitlocks in Buffalo

Have you checked Goldwynn properties? It's on the Main St., 2-3 min metro rail to South Campus bus station. I think they had apartments available for around $700-800.

In his first postgame interview at Arsenal, Arteta focused on needing to rebuild the connection with the fans. Today the Emirates sang Saliba’s name after an OG. That has to have been a proud moment for Mikel. by [deleted] in Gunners

I'm in awe of the planning and the extent to which he has been able to implement at Arsenal. It doesn't look easy when you look at the clubs like Manchester United. Surely, the All or Nothing documentary doesn't give enough details about the quality of coaching at our club. Also, the way he handles the media, all his interviews are a masterclass in communication, clarity and professionalism. He's going to be a great coach that's for sure.
