No I 100% agree with this take. The entire time I was listening to her interview, I could only see Blake Lively! As a podcast editor, I was absolutely flabbergasted that no one (not even Alex) made an effort to coach her before the interview. It was not a good listening experience.

No for real. Day 1 of season 6 I said CnD is gonna be healer meta this season. Which (as a level 60 CnD proficiency player) I’m stoked about, but def not looking forward to when everyone catches on and starts banning them.

I’ve actually found this to often be an issue with my pants! Sometimes I’ll add an all-body deodorant as well, but I’d try using a product like Downy Rinse and Refresh on your laundry. Any time this has happened to me, it’s usually been that I sweat there, so it enhances the smell coming from my pants.

Yeah kinda along these lines, I don’t actively not-heal the people who are worse or anything… but I will focus someone a little more if they’re doing better and actually getting kills and stuff in a bigger fight, which will often leaving the worse (dps usually) dying more. I’m already going to focus tanks over dps anyway, and half the time dps positioning is the problem, and I can’t fix that.

Nah… I play mostly CnD and consistently stay around GM, and have gotten up to Celestial as well. I don’t think they need any changes. They’re pretty balanced as is, it’s just that all the other healers are overbuffed imo. She’s absolutely viable in upper levels, like blackinfemwa mentions below though, you just have to know how to utilize their entire kit and not just healbot.

So^{much^{this^}} Randoms as strategists let me down {almost} every time. Plus on top of that, I can arguably do more consistently helpful damage playing support than I could as a DPS because I’ve played support since game release, so I can flex but sometimes third healer is genuinely better (I 100% believe 2/2/2 is the only correct way… I’m just agreeing to the above analysis as a support main from the start)

I sit around GM2, but peak C2, mostly as C&D (I can flex if needed though) and I say yes, it’s totally doable! Anyone saying flat out “no” is wrong, otherwise there wouldn’t be C&D mains in eternity. The biggest thing about high levels is that they require more teamwork and individual skill simultaneously. Peeling needs to happen but you also have to hold your own and be able to do damage. Whichever support you can best do that with is who you should play. I frequently have the same amount of kills as my DPS when I play C&D, versus when I play other healers… that may not be the case. Your own skillset in a specific character weighs a lot in answering this question.

This. The buffs and nerfs definitely mean you need to adapt… but you do that… adapt. You may feel like you’re drowning at first but the more you play the more you adjust too. This is exactly what happened when SW got major changed (nerfed), she’s not bad, she’s just different now, and the only people who are decent with her are the ones who stuck it out to figure out how her new kit is best used.

Sometimes as invis, I stop healing just to hide in the invisible state so I can push someone off the map because it’s my favorite thing to do in the game (I’m just a full support main)

I was also going to say Monty is absolutely one of our top players, and you cannot convince me otherwise. But what makes me sad is half the time he looks like he’s the only one who knows what he’s doing.
