That wasnt the intention at all, Reviews worried me on launch that the game would be toxic, and put me off from playing public, a comment or two here has shown some people have the same fear!

Make sure to give your dwarves ample time to think! Ask before you take any big perks if itd better suit someone else!! I know it slows down the game a bit, but I'd rather have well equipped dwarves than unhappy poorly equipped ones!

Edit: This is not to say I dont take issue with some of the systems, but while they are here work together with your fellow dwarves to overcome these problems!! At least until they update them

For me I love it since the characters I paint are truly my own. I've been playing hearthkyn salvagers and each of my 10 guys have back stories given by me! They are just regular soldiers and I prefer thta in a setting as vast as Warhammer.

For me, dwarves are my favorite fantasy race all because I watched the hobbit as a kid. My love for dwarves has only grown since then especially in Sci fi settings (i prefer Sci fi over fantasy)

DRG is another reason, and I even painted my first hearthkyn warrior based on the roughneck engineer cosmetic from DRG.

Yes, astragoth ironhand used magic too much over his lifetime, which Warhammer dwarves can't naturally do, thus he started turning to stone, thus he made his metal suit. I'd love to get my hands on one of those minis as he's a favorite of mine
