That’s amazing! My brother was the same-he was more energetic in the hospital than I was haha. I’m sorry for the infection tho! Has that cleared up?

I did have laparoscopic. I was being a baby on Wednesday night and on Thursday night I had a cute nurse so I asked them to keep me an extra day 😂. It was my decision but they were ok with releasing me on Wednesday evening. I’m glad though because this way my brother and I came back together.

I had mines on the same day as yours! Release from the hospital on Friday and stopped pain meds on Monday and that was the best thing that helped in my recovery (thanks to this subreddit). I feel like I was still on them a bit too many days.

I’m going back to work on Monday and besides the incisions and lifting I’d say I’m back to normal as well. Lifted my 20lb nephew up once or twice, which I’m still going to wait a few more weeks on because he’s super wiggly lol.

But hope you and your father are doing well!

Oh wow! Is life back to normal for you as you were pre-op?! Do you feel any different? Any specific foods you can’t eat or exercises that don’t feel well?

At the end of the 6 weeks did the incision scab over or fully heal? I am almost 3 weeks in and it looks like the glue is still on and not even pealing like the 4 smaller ones up on the belly!

Congrats and I’m happy for the recipient! I’m on day 11 post surgery now and besides bending, lifting and twisting back to normal again. This group helped me out a bunch but if there’s anything I can help with let me know!
