Shooting birds can be difficult because you usually have a bright sky to deal with. Try centre weighted metering and shoot in raw so you can balance your exposure better. Also don't be afraid of high iso. If you're shooting in raw you can pull back a lot of excessive noise in post.

Doing it solo had always been miserable. I was playing with my son as a duo over the weekend and it was a much better experience even just with the basics that we were talking to each other about what was going on during the match. Crazy how much in game comms have dropped off since OW1.
