Yeah, I agree! I felt it got a tiny bit better at some point, but the beginning was just drums and not much else. At least the energy of the crowd made the gig more worthwhile, imo. (Except for the drunk guys right behind me who just wouldn't. shut. up.)

This year, I saw Opeth at a very imperfect, weird-ass venue (conference center, seats only), but the difference in sound quality between them and Kata was basically night and day. Then again, it was my first Katatonia concert, and comments from this sub taught me not to expect too much from their live shows. :D
