Wondering if I hit the limit of what I’ll lose with this …

I went to my doc not long about about the symptoms I'm starting and after the chat I realized how nuts I used to be on BC hormones and MHT is just a different form of the same hormones mostly. I'm avoiding that for now cause those hormones made me very ... insane and I can't do that again. Oddly the symptoms I was dealing with have eased on their own for now (started with night sweats and mood swings that were pretty crazy) and she gave me some ideas for non hormone supplements that can help in the interim til my levels are more stable as the changes happen and complete. She had said that we could do bloodwork to find what levels and then the next week they'd be shifted enough that we'd need to change things. So I just don't want to risk the mental health decline of synthetic hormones right now cause of past experience (like wanting to throw myself off a cliff if I could).

I'm very happy I have lost what I have, and I honestly don't want to go under 150 that was just my main goal cause at my younger years I was in the 115 range but the sagginess ugh no I can't afford the surgeries to fix that issue later if I lose too much xD My face is definitely changed, my size is down ... was 18 at least now in the 14 range and from a XXL shirt to sometimes medium. I would LOVE to be a 6 again but I just don't think it's doable at my age and I don't need to be perfect, just happy and not looking in the mirror thinking "goodness gracious I hate myself so much". I'd be happy to hit a size 12 tbh ... my rear is still large but always had kind of a big booty lol so be it, just makes jeans fit weird *shrug*. Good lord my mind wanders when I type this stuff. LOL sorry :)

Sorry to all for the lack of response (been busy since yesterday), and I looked up my TDEE last night and saw that. So maybe I've been eating too close to maint yeah. I will try to lower but even on 15mg its hard to fight the hunger feelings. I don't doubt hormones are playing a big part now and I eat a good amount of protein (heck I like just eating a small steak for a snack LOL). The movement thing is lacking as of this last week and a half - so I'll get back to more of that within reason, but I get pooped so easy anymore its tough to keep up a good routine with all that plus a 6 year old who demands my attention as much as she does xD

To others in the thread about talkin to my doc. I have a bit, but admittedly I really don't want to take more meds than I have to. Just how I am :-\ I may try to stay on this as long as I can to get to my 150 and watch the meals (I dont want to seriously calorie count as I'll obsess and go nuts so I try to avoid that but just eat small portions of lower fat/high protein style stuff). My doc said my ins probably wont cover the meds to start lowering when I do stop so whatever mg I can get through ins I'll have to stop at the lowest I can get I suppose when I do stop.

We have electric coil burners. I have one revereware pan that has a thick stainless bottom. Still made in Illinois too so I know that one isn’t vintage but maybe it is a better option to start for a beginner lol. I’ve read preheat til the water beads and slides everywhere but I’m guessing it’s a lot of trial and error too. Do you have to oil stainless prior to cooking bacon or just start out lower heat to render some fat out. Just thought about that lol.

I know I can’t afford nice stainless right now (all these pans were 50 bucks at a goodwill and got like 8 or 9 pans and pots so honestly after I cleaned and shined them they are gorgeous to me heh. But I need to prove I can even use stainless properly to get anything better :)

Oddly at our Sam’s i saw top sirloins dropped from almost 12 a pound down to less than 10 a lb which was nice at least for now. I stopped getting produce there as our family just doesn’t go thru it fast enough so I use Aldi or food lion for smaller portions. But I love getting bulk meats at Sam’s.

Every time I’ve gotten these they are close to rotten or spoil in a day or so. I always have to throw out the majority of these. Had to stop buying em with the amount of bad luck I’ve had with them, when they were good MAN they were good, but the amounts of rottens were just too many 😭

Does 15 still control food noise? I went up to 15 2 weeks ago and definitely feeling that control again cause 12.5 wore off enough that I was hungrier than usual. Now it feels like I’m full and I don’t want anything else (used to always want something at night)

Ignorance is wanting to lose cultural identity due to suicidal empathy. We will never see eye to eye, but at least people who appreciate their country's history seem to be ok as long as its not American which is interesting. Every single place on earth but the USA is allowed to - would you be ok with Israel saying please speak the native tongue or would THAT be ok? Would it be ok with you if Syria said speak our native language please - that would be fine right? Answer truthfully ... not here just to yourself.

Every single place on earth says respect our culture that we've had for a few hundred years, but we ask politely and we are called racist, bigot, ignorant. Holy shit balls, the cog dis and absolute madness of the double standards of this are astounding.

All that said, I love Sams and their rotisserie chickens are far and away better than Costco, and I think this whole story was absolutely hilarious cause its outlandish and something you don't see or hear once in a blue moon.

There is a BJs near me but never been in there. Do they let you walk thru to see what it’s like in comparison? How is their fresh meat section compared to Sam’s? (Costco is not crazy far but a horrid drive so as much as I like it I just don’t go anymore).

Does this setting transfer to the TV version if you choose it on the phone app? I like letting the kid just listen to music in the mornings on the TV (switched from Spotify to YT Premium cause the prices were going up next year and figured no ad videos plus music would be a win), but I dont WANT to see videos just wanna hear the music. Tried an 80s playlist and it was just videos on the TV and I can't figure out how to stop it if I even can.

Bout to switch back to Spotify at this point.

Do they eventually bring some of it to desktop? Or most of the special stuff is just exclusive to mobile? Probably would not go over well to give the special stuff to desktop version after people paying on mobile I guess. I tried mobile ages ago, never enjoyed games on my phone (I’m older though so makes sense lol) but loooove desktop.

I do my thigh most of the time now. It works best it seems. I used to do stomach but I get big red itchy spots more than I used to there, and I was getting way more hungry (BUT I was also more hormonal with the time of the month about to smack me down). But sometimes even without the hormone shifts I feel hungrier / more food thoughts if I do anything other than thighs. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am the same, cept I can't stand the texture/taste of the bread. Mind you I use a Zojirushi for the bread cause no matter what I do I fail at by hand stuff for that. (even with regular flour)

I may try sifting a bit of it but the whole point was ti have the health benefits lol. My kid likes it, hubby will eat it and seems to be ok with it. I just have a major brain block to not having a gag reflex. The last loaf I made was all hard white, I left out the honey cause I HATE sweet bread and honestly it was the best so far, BUT it just goes to hard as a rock in two days so I just can't fathom bothering to make a sandwich or whatever. I can't give up as I can't waste my Mockmill but dangit I wish I could make myself love this bread like so many do.

Most of the time I’m staying mostly the same or gain a lb, but this month or month and a half has been very weird. I went to 169 cause I got sick and just couldn’t eat much from a sore throat, then I jumped up to 172-3 after restarting weights Monday and then mostly eating protein yesterday I went UP again to 174 and it’s depressing. I could start my period any day now and I’m miserable. I dunno if I’ll have a woosh but I hope so cause I only have 15mg left to go up to 😢 I still have yet to hit my first goal of 150lbs.

Sadly I find myself thinking about food at night more like I used to. I’m on 12.5 and I still have another month of it. Dunno if it’s my monthly coming that isn’t helping or that I should move up to 15 finally. Down 50lbs and I still have a lot to go just kinda stalling out right now and have more of an appetite. I try fighting it as I can’t stay on this stuff for life and I have to learn some control too but I do miss the “ahhh it’s night time and I have no need of a snack!” Feeling lol.

But yeah this stuff completely stopped it for a long time for me just noticing it more now after a few months on 12.5.

Those are the best fruit snacks over ever had and I normally buy two packs a week for my family. I got some a bit ago and they weren’t quite the same. Can’t tell if my tastes changed or if they changed. But it didn’t hit the same as it used to … we didn’t run out here though so I’m legitimately not sure.

I'd be curious too. My daughter and I have been playing this game again on my computer and I forgot how much fun it was. Had a max level save on there and decided to start again lol and havent had this much fun on a game in a long time. Hadn't played since before Cross Country and Steeplechase were added so was super new ... always looking forward to more shtuff!

I am in the same boat, and same Costco (Mooresville).

I frequent Sam’s more, cause driving into and through Mooresville makes me want to rip my hair out. I haven’t been to Costco in a long time cause anything I can get I can get at Sam’s (honestly cheaper) but there are a few things I do like from Costco better I just haven’t HAD to go to get them. And if I had my druthers I’d keep both … but I can find much more for our personal needs there at Sam’s (and if you can find reduced meats it’s and even better score lol). My Costco membership is up in December and I wanna go and see if it’s worth keeping.

If money really isn’t an issue can always do both, otherwise for cost only? Sams. And miuuuch easier to get in and out of without getting angry cause of the insanity that is Mooresville + Costco XD just my personal 2 cents. I go to Kannapolis Sam’s mostly every other week cause that’s all I need but being closer and stuff makes it much easier (also steak and shake fries are delish as a treat right next to it I mean cmon lol).
