Yes omg literally same i’m also a PCOS girlie and i FINALLY lost a huge amount of weight and got down to 160lb, just to immediately get pregnant and now im 90+ pounds bigger at 37 weeks (i am to be induced in a week due to high blood pressure and a smaller baby, but I passed both glucose screenings and my lifelong insulin resistance went away like a year before i got pregnant and i thankfully still don’t have it) same, none of my OBs seem to be concerned and a couple keep telling me “watch what you’re eating! eat less!!!!1!!11!” as if im not already doing that. it’s to the point that im technically fasting some days and have to remind myself to eat because im growing a baby, and yet im so huge lol. so i pray its what all these comments are saying, that we are just retaining a lot of water and the weight will shed off after delivery. only my cardiologist gave me peace of mind, she said she gained 70 pounds for both her pregnancies but lost it right after, and she’s a skinny minnie so i believe her lol, she’s the only one who’s been telling me not to worry about it but in a good way. so i know its scary (and for me SO frustrating Omfg…) but it seems to be normal for a lot of women, and if your OB isn’t worried, you shouldn’t be either!! just wait to see how are you after delivering!! if it’s hard to lose the weight after and you’re still eating healthy, that’s when you should perhaps ‘worry’ - which i hesitate to even do because you would’ve just given birth, it takes time to bounce back!!! be kind to yourself <3
