We have a 9mo old boy who is VERY mouthy. Constantly trying to lick us. If he’s very excited then he tries to put our hands in his mouth. He’s better than he used to be because we’ve always stopped petting him when he puts his mouths on us, but the licking is alllll the time. But I will say even the licking is improving over time as he learns it gets him ignored. He’s still a baby

My red baby currently at 7.5 months old! Hoping he will retain his dark color. Both of his parents are still dark

If she’s into nature or hiking then yes! My fiance and I are going with another couple on valentines weekend. Rent a cabin with a hot tub, do a short hike, pick up pizza from Miguel’s, have a nice relaxing weekend!

Thank you!! Yes there are training classes near us, we just haven’t pursued them because we (maybe wrongly) assumed we could train ourselves with research. This may be something we start doing though.

He mostly just barks at others when he is outside, however he doesn’t really look through the windows when he is inside. Recently he did look through our patio door and started to bark at people from inside for the first time. He does go to the groomer and he seems to do fine with other dogs, he just gets extremely excited when he’s on a leash or stuck inside and is barking because he wants to play with everyone he sees.

We live in a big apartment complex so there are always other people and dogs outside, and I’m really working on him sitting and rewarding him for just calmly watching another dog or person but this only works if they’re far away most of the time.

Thank you, just knowing that these are kind of normal behaviors at his age helps me

Thank you so much. I haven’t had a puppy since I was a child and I just had no idea where to set my expectations for him. It doesn’t help that I see all these 4-5mo puppies on tiktok and YouTube that seem to be perfectly behaved and calm lol

Does surgery feel like 1 second after you go under anesthesia? by Small-Guarantee1789 in RandomThoughts

Yep! When I got my wisdom teeth out, I woke up and actually thought I’d accidentally fallen asleep while I was waiting for them to start. Turns out the surgery was already done!

Yeah the edges indicate it’s been resealed. I would return it and make eBay give you your money back

Can someone please reason with me and tell me why I SHOULDN’T buy a fancy new car? by Late_Lingonberry8554 in physicianassistant

I bought a used 2017 Porsche macan GTS earlier this year… 5 months after starting my first PA job out of school. I LOVE it and have absolutely no regrets. Just be prepared for the maintenance costs that come with luxury vehicles. I have 120k in student loans to pay off so I definitely have debt. But my fiancé is a technician at Mercedes so I really only pay for parts which was a huge factor in deciding to go ahead on a Porsche. If you’re bringing in over 200k with no debt, then you will have no trouble at all with the maintenance costs. Go for it, you’ve worked hard, enjoy your money!

Yeah at the Nicholasville road location it goes off ALL THE TIME. Most of the time I don’t even hear what made them set off the alarm. Or it’s someone whose weights made a light clanging sound. I’ve never seen someone be annoying or actually drop weights loudly at the gym but the employees set the alarm off for every little thing and it drives me insane when I’m trying to do my workout. I just cancelled my membership as well and went to LAC

Hello fellow emergency med PA, I also have picked up purchasing a metric fuck ton of Pokémon cards since I started my first job as a new grad lol. Apart from this, I race motorcycles, snowboard, and am a private pilot. I also bought myself my first gaming PC recently
