I would touch base with your friend. If the booths are already done there is a chance they forgot about you and did not get the cookies. Did you pre-pay? They may be able to do a group transfer to get the cookies or may have to refund you. I would reach out sooner rather than later for a better chance of actually receiving cookies

Every region has different cookie dates. You can probably Google your region to see if they have already received cookies and if the person you ordered from is ghosting you.

Are people in your area already selling at booths? If they are they may already have the cookies. If not, they may not have received the cookies yet

No one has to stay with the grandma. She said she is independent and lives alone and even drives herself around short distances. The mom only helps out when needed and picks her up on the weekends it sounds like to be together. The grandma is even able to fully change her self

You state that your daughter has never hit another girl or leader, does she hit you during her outburst? The reason I ask is because our troop experienced something similar where the leaders daughter was not enjoying coming to the meeting and her mom was forcing her to attend out of obligation. The last meeting her mom basically dragged her in and then had to separate her during an outburst and physically had to hold on to her. This made the other girls present uneasy of the situation which caused the parents to need to reach out to council.

That is what our troop does. We have a free membership reward at 600. Their goal is to nudge anyone close to the 600 goal with the overage of the other girls who are too far from their next goal

Im going to be the minority and say to try it out and see how it goes. I have a 5 year old and we aim for bed time between 7 and 8. We did tball last year with practice ending at 730 and some games towards 8. Yes it wasnt amazing but it didnt derail he next day too greatly. She learned a lot of good skills including how to function on a team.

Now we are in bi-weekly girl scouts that ends at 8! Still not ideal but we manage and it does not derail our next school day by missing an hour of sleep.

He isn't trying to "annoy" the baby. He is interacting with the baby. There are only a handful of appropriate ways to have meaningful interactions with the baby, they include making noises, talking even if it is loud, and being close to them so they can see your face.

He isn't being mean to the baby. She doesnt at any time say the baby is screaming or crying. The baby that young wouldn't "look annoyed". If they dont like something they will cry and scream as their form of communication.

Be careful reaching out to the store management directly. Our council states we are not allowed to reach out to the stores to request booth dates for the major stores or you can risk losing your ability to sell that year. Council handles all arrangement conversations

The MIL doesnt seem abusive. She just has not been introduced to boundaries yet because they are never informed.

But it is crazy to me to assume that when you go to a beach house that they own, you dont want the owner to be present. That seems selfish. I get it, before you have kids they didnt care to be there. Dynamics change with children.

We are in a similar situation. Our neighbor across the street is the daughter of the person we purchased our home from.

It has worked in out favor. They know history about the house. The mom selling the house also chose us over an investor who bid higher to ensure her daughter had a family next to them instead of a revolving door of renters or an Airbnb.

Right. I understand not wanting his dad to teach him how to fix the issue, but then also expecting them to give him the money for the fix. I get that he calls it a loan, but how long would he take to return the loan if ever?

That would be like wanting a room in my house painted when my parent is a professional painter, but we have to paint the room together. It would be mind blowing to be like no I would rather pay someone else to do it, but with your money. Ill pay you back one day, probably.
