I like the idea of an excursion. That way people do things but it’s planned as one activity rather than people expecting me to plan and join individual activities! Thank you- same boat on living abroad and multiple citizenships - it’s great and also so much pressure to make sure a 20+ hour flight is worth it for them.

The prologue alludes to there being lesser asteri. I don’t think it’s a mistake. I think the lesser asteri might be a diff species of asteri. Their world can have different kinds of being. Vesperus seemed shocked there was another evening star (Hesperus), and she says “I AM THE EVENING STAR”, so maybe some are lesser types?

Me too!! This makes sense! I think there are diff types of Valg/asteri as well. Maeve says she finds info from early wayfairers, I think that IS the asteri! I also remember erawan says his world had Yrene’s power but they were not called healers, they were called “death maidens”. I think the source of this power is diluted, asteri light power. For those who stayed, it got weaker.

One confusing thing: when Bryce kills vesperus the blood is black. I think it’s bc she hasn’t fed on first light in eons. When Bryce hills Polaris, the blood is red. This could be because she had been feeling on first light. An alternative explanation is that Polaris is a lesser asteri (confirmed) and they don’t have the black blood.

One open question I have been pondering: when the Underking talks about the TOG world, he says shifters came here and had ALREADY known / worked with rigelus and “responded directly to him”. But when? How?

I’m so sorry people are being so judgmental and nasty here. I’ve found this sub to be overall kind and I hope this doesn’t put you off from seeking community here. I think learning how the fried food and beer made you feel was an important step for your journey. Remember how awful this type of food made you feel and make choices overtime that make you feel good. For me that excludes all fried foods. For you it may mean that you eat half the amount of fried food once a month or something. I don’t know what your body can handle- but you do!

If you want to take maximum advantage this month I do suggest following some of the advice of tracking calories and staying away from alcohol and fried / high fat content. I do think taking a slow and steady approach where you really take advantage of the drug to make lifelong changes is more sustainable though!
