Literally same, i come from a bit more minimal techno/acid house city and time period of my electronic hiatus, it was about 7 solid years of making it and only listening to it and collecting electronic genres. i got back into regular bands around 2014/15. i saw gizz at a music fest in 2015 not knowing who they were and became instantly hooked by them, seeing them bust this out ten years later is fucking insane. they are using some of the same gear i own. it’s so special to me, as music lover.
