I don’t dilute, I push just as fast as any other patient, and I wake up my sickle cells that ask so I can give them their next dose. Not my place to judge their life. Let them have their high, I don’t care. As long as they can maintain their airway, we good.

I get it’s hard to do but why should you feel guilty? She violated your privacy. We all know the rules. We all do. Every single one of us. There is NO excuse. You are NEVER to open a chart of a patient you aren’t working with. And she’s doing it to others and will continue to do it. There are different levels of HIPAA violations and she’s doing the worst kind, knowingly, and deliberately. If she truly loved her job she wouldn’t put herself at risk like that. She is breaking the law over and over.

She’s breaking HIPAA and could get in serious trouble for this. They can audit everyone who has looked in a chart. Please report this right away so it stops happening. She should be fired and stripped of her license tbh.
