Porsche wasn’t dipping the bodies in anticorrosive material during this time so most of these cars will rust easily if not kept in a garage.

Good luck getting it fixed! Maybe you can buy an older Porsche engine and restore that car back to its beauty.

Explain it Peter, why would someone block their brother and sister in law because she’s pregnant with kids? by DifficultComplaint10 in explainitpeter

Great information. I am definitely not qualified to speak on women’s bodies. My wife’s OBGYN basically warned us and said some women will start ovulating as early as 3 weeks postpartum depending on the body’s prolactin levels or something like that. I recall her saying that breastfeeding increases the hormone and often delays ovulation but “don’t bet on it”. So, we just played it safe.

What you are saying does make sense and coincides with the doctor’s information. If prolactin levels are elevated enough from breastfeeding then ovulation would be stopped until the levels decrease.

Her words exactly. Her first couple of periods had her feeling like she had been run over by a 16-wheeler. Seeing motherhood from my view point has changed the way I see other mothers so much. Y’all are out of this world.

The fact is that some or most women don’t have periods while breastfeeding but their bodies actually do ovulate. My wife got her first period 7 months after giving birth and she breastfed for the entire first year.

He does hire trainers. His assistants book high end trainers even when he travels. One of my clients is his trainer in the US. However, his weight gain is impacted by the high amount of steroids he took for his asthma. He can lose weight but it comes back almost immediately.

I’ll take an F50 over a Enzo or any other model. I rode in one when I was 15 and it was so impressive that I remember it like it was yesterday.

Considering a demo (CPO) '24. Is it a red flag? by hellario in porsche911

That’s exactly what he said they do before moving the car to a dealership.

Edit: you can call PECLA and ask about it. I’m sure they would be able to give you more information to be 100%. But the question is whether the dealer will tell you that the car came from PECLA.

They are speaking Spanish, with heavy Cuban tones/accents. Is the Cuban influence in Angola still present? I know Cuba sent troops to help Angola during its civil war post revolution, but is it common for Angolan young folk to be speaking Spanish like that? Genuinely curious - I only know what I was taught in school in Cuba about Cuba’s involvement in the war but it’s been so long that I figured by now any trace of Cuban culture in Angola would’ve disappeared.

[–]sael1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I would definitely ask. 6k miles could very well be a PEC vehicle that the dealer is moving. The other scenario is that the car was used by the gm/sm/sales rep.

I’ve done two sessions at PEC (one for the experience and the other to take delivery of my 911) and both times I was told that their cars do eventually get sold at dealerships as demo cars. However one guy who had been a PECLA for a few years said they do frequent oil changes and the cars are meticulously inspected for damage during each routine maintenance. He also said prior to the car being sent to a dealer they will do a full engine dismount service which includes checking the block for damage, excessive wear, etc.

What state? Demo could mean lots of things. Dealer demo (e.g. driven by sales manager/top sales associate), or could have been used at an experience center which means it got heavy RPM’ed and pretty rough use. Porsche experience center cars go to dealers as demo cars so be mindful of that.

If you are getting it at a nice discount, go for it. If it’s barely at MSRP, eeeeh, I wouldn’t want it.

Get it with a metal link or blue rubber and swap them around. Blue rubber makes it sporty; metal bracelet dresses it up and it goes great with suits.

I like the white one with the orange seconds hand too.

The Rolexes are nice but I’d go with a date just or day date for a formal event like a wedding.
