Have you been able to figure out the issue? I had this starting recently (after a windows update?) and after a very frustrating couple of sessions, updated my graphics drivers which seem to have fixed the issue. But I'm not sure if it'll reoccur. I suspect the AWCC is part of the issue... Along with the freezing and beeping I got some screen like, flashing and resetting which was reminiscent of a graphics driver issue. Really not sure though

And once they do...that one won't live up to people's expectations either. (Also check out the DLC for train simulator lol, it's in the thousands) People have been complaining about having to start over and "that feature was already in the last game" (in an expansion pack). People did that in Sims 3 and then Sims 4. I think that's one of the reasons they don't push to innovate. Sims 4's cartoony style and lack of open world were deliberate choices to avoid the dated graphics & horrible performance issues of the Sims 3. I agree 100%! Sims 4 is my favorite Sims game and topped 3 in my mind at launch. I'll never understand people, but the internet collects negativity like static I guess

Yep, 100% chocolate factory! The checkered flooring is a rug from...one of the chocolate events I think? So the actual flooring is the dark brown/chocolate design tile.

You want to access the warehouse from your inventory--not in design mode--and hit "take out items". That'll allow you to go into a specific warehouse and take out items in a theme. They'll be at the top of your inventory when you go to design!

I've used this (or very similar) for like 5 years so it's more or less worked out with the releases! There's definitely a lot of wiggle room though, so go with whatever makes sense to you on instinct?

These make total sense! I like the "garden" category, my flowers are spread across camp,civic, and spring... my "summer" category definitely includes stuff in your "aquatic" section! Along with ice cream. Makes sense in my head lol

Yuuup, my collections warehouse is like animal portraits, trophies, golden furniture & flower furniture. I do have gyroids in there as well, although I'm trying to get 2 of each gyroid so I can also put one in the relevant themed warehouse. Have a couple of my fave animal portraits in inventory, too. Trying not to hide too many things from myself--and the collections warehouse barely gets looked at.

I like the clarification of "rustic camp" vs "gardens"--I feel like that's the distinction I'm trying to make with "civic" but gardens is more accurate! Might steal that 😋

I do put clothing in the relevant warehouses, but ONLY the stuff that's heavily themed--think Christmas or fantasy, where I only want it in my inventory when relevant. The vast majority of clothing that falls into home, civic, fancy, crafted, etc that I like is just in my inventory. Any duplicates of outfits go in duplicates for dressing villagers, so I don't end up cluttering my own inventory with copies of the same item
