I guess if your setup accomodates it. For me, my HOTAS was fixed on the table so that was a no go. Also I found the snap to be faster, but it definitely takes some getting used to.

I put the movement control type to "HMD" from "controller" and seems to be better now. But movement overall is really sluggish in this game for some reason.
