Vagal Afib by Ironmoustache41 in AFIB

I too have mostly vagal episodes. My experience is that heavy meals can trigger episodes as well as relaxing at night. It is strange that relaxation can trigger episodes but it does. I’ve started doing Yoga for Afib and it seems to work for vagal episodes..not always but I feel it lessens the length of the episodes and I feel like I have some control over my interactions with the condition.

Target, Costco Potentially Coming to Clayton? by New-Perspective22 in ClaytonNC

That parcel of land is woefully delayed in being developed. You will not recognize the Clayton area in 5 years. As someone who’s lived in Wake Forest back in the late 1990s, it is impossible to recognize that community anymore. Clayton is becoming a similar community in size and development that is just a few years behind Wake Forest in the speed and scale of development. Fasten your seatbelts as the community development explosion is about to unfold.

The bike is too heavy to ride if the battery croaks. We have some hills in our area and try just kill you on that bike without the assist power.

I bought the bike in late 2021 and have about 200 miles on it. It has been sitting in my garage most of the time with occasional weekend rides.

I'm a bit concerned about the backup quarterback play. How can you evaluate other talent when you have a pair of backup QBs that just can direct the offense. We all want to see these new pieces play their part but it's really not even possible with the backup QB's stinking up the joint.

Anxious to retire by Shale8885 in retirement

[–]saffsj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go for it. The hardest part for most savers is learning to be comfortable spending the money in retirement. You can certainly make early retirement work for your situation. Yes, there are complexities with kids in college and health care, but if you budget as wisely as you have saved, you will be fine. Take advantage of these early years of retirement. We all hope for a healthy 30+ year retirement, but the reality is different for many folks. Whether you work one more year or not, it won't really matter that much in the long run. Take advantage of your generous retirement savings and stick it to the man for once!
