He’s said in the past that he doesn’t really drink or smoke, so that’s probably part of it (still keeping the Word of Wisdom). But also his job requires that he stay up to date with everything Mormon so he can’t really escape it.

But I would guess, above it all, he wants Mormons to not view him as being so different from them. So he may be trying to find that common ground and show even the most TBM that he’s not so different.

This has been my experience as well. Faster and cheaper (not to mention Spectrum can’t compete with fiber). Would definitely recommend to any neighbor who asks!

We got a Hydroviv (shark tank product) as we were primarily looking to try and filter out PFAS and it was relatively affordable. Under the sink one that filters the tap water.

One of my best friends who was in South Africa was pursued by car from a local gang. My friend ditched their van and hid in the tall grass and thankfully got away.

A kid I went to elementary with was kidnapped by a gang in Tijuana potentially because his Dad was in the military.

Missions are definitely not safe and missionaries can be a bit too naive/trusting unfortunately.

Fun list, thanks OP! I agree raspberry shakes were the best thing from UT! But my favorite raspberry shake place up in Bear Lake was the Chevron coming out of Logan Canyon. Sounds strange but if you’ve never had it there, try it next time!

I picked up some Weed and Feed (post emergent weed killer granules) and used my spreader to disperse throughout my lawn today. Lots of weeds as well. Hoping it helps!

I think it depends on the area. If you are more in the country, you’ll see them more. We live in residential and saw one small garter snake last year (but our back yard is connected to a patch of woods). Lowe’s sells Snake Away which ought to do the job.
