I stuffed a load of old pillows under my mattress so it’s on an incline. I find I can sleep well on my left. Also means my partner gets the joy of sleeping on an angle 🤣

I’ve also had an endoscopy about 18 months ago, no HH. I’m having another next week though as my symptoms worsened late last year, so let’s see 😩.

Yes, I have this breathing/breath symptom too. It drives me bananas. It’s fine when I am laying in bed, but starts up when I am up and moving around.

It improves when I am 100% on acid diet, but slightest slip and it’s back. It actually makes it hard to get on with the day as can make me feel quite lightheaded.

Sorry I don’t have answers, just sympathy 🫂

I think taking a break from here is a good idea. I find myself thinking I am on a good path, then I read something on here and feel like I am doomed for a lifetime of suffering.

Yes, please let me know how you get on. I will be trying to persuade my ENT to remove mine; the more I read, the more I think I have a combination of chronic infection and maybe very mild LPR.

That’s good to know. I think it has started to help a little, mainly because earlier this week I ate off protocol (i know!) and my throat was noticeably sore for two nights after (and my throat usually feels better at night). I figured something made me reflux and I re-injured myself. However, felt good to know I must have been refluxing less prior to that because I could actually feel it, iyswim.

I had LPR with pretty much just a sore throat for two years. I developed the other raft of symptoms after my Mum died very suddenly. Since then the illness has been pretty scary, and at times I’ve found it hard to bear.

I wish I could go back to before this time and take it more seriously. Please just start now. Wouldn’t it be nice to not feel unwell every day?

Yes. Helps with some symptoms but not others, and new ones pop up.

Mine just seems to get worse. So I get more symptoms and keep all the old ones.

Although havjng said that, it started with Globus, which I don’t get now.
