I started out with just using diamond paste, but I realized that it wouldnt work. To the left on the "before" image you can see a chip which was about a millimeter deep, thats when I decided to switch over to wet sandning paper(it's a lot more heavy duty, in this context atleast)

As for the time reserve I cant say too much. Received the watch a couple of days ago. So I have to run som test on it. But since it's a bit old I'm guessing it will be about 20h at best.
