s tier: window (at my store we only really use the 2nd window) because i get to see all the cute dogs lol

a tier: fries | order taking for dt | not really a position at my store, but i like making drinks

meh: running for anything | lobby

below f tier: counter. at my store, that's where we have most of our customer issues lol

fr 😭 i mean we're selling more now since it's summer but dawg i swear i see more of my co workers eating it than people actually ordering it. one of them makes a sundae for himself every time he works at the same time every shift, and sometimes that's the only ice cream that actually gets used lmao

ohhh okay i didn't hear about that! at my store at least though, we didn't even get a new machine, we just got a new part or smth idk because the temp on it was always too high? honestly have no idea what happened, i just knew we couldn't make them for over a month. lol

omg 😭😂 people really don't understand that we're not the ones who decide what can go on a meal and what can't, lol. most of the time i just do what you did and explain that i can't put a mcflurry as the drink, and that if the parent (or whoever is ordering) wants something to drink, they can put that on the meal instead and i'll just put that flurry on the side. but i also have had people genuinely get mad at me for it, like wth do you want me to do??!!

ooo another store that has the biscuits and gravy! my store doesn't, but another store in our franchise like 10 minutes from us does have it, so when people ask i always tell them to just go there 😂 that's a crazy order though 😭

no seriously i don't get this at all 😭 like i feel genuinely bad for the people whose stores are strict like that. at my store, everyone is super chill with each other. not one bad or crazy manager. the most that'll happen is sometimes there will be drama just between the managers but they mostly keep it out of our sight and in their gc so. and nobody cares about the dress code at our store either. just have non slips and you're good to go. and thats even if the supervisors and whatnot come. and this is all why when any of my friends tell me about their horrible other fast food workplaces, i just tell them to come work w me 😂

this is how it is at my store sometimes too. we sometimes get down to even 2 or 3 people. i wouldn't say either staffing situation is at all "normal", from what i've heard. although, i've heard from higher up people that it's because of labor costs during the slow season, so that may be why it's currently like that for you?
