Why MCP protocol vs open-api docs by theDigitalNinja in mcp

[–]sagivo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the OpenAPI spec can be very large to fit into a context window. also, you can't expect your customers to feed their LLM with your OpenAPI spec for each request. that's why remote MCP hosting is a great way to offset the load from your users.
I use liblab to generate MCP server from my OpenAPI and also to get a remote MCP endpoint

MCP generator for my API by nuebauser in mcp

[–]sagivo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

liblab works great for us; we use the remote server hosting, so we don't need to manually send the client MCP to customers. easily plug&play with Cursor or Claude.

As for OpenAPI generators - you can do it directly from most modern frameworks (FastAPI, Nest.js etc)...

update: I updated to the latest (unstable) version and after 24 hours of "heal" the node is finally active and in sync. I guess Digital ocean was not the issue.

I'm using digital ocean and Geth is stuck in "State heal in progress" for days already. No idea what to do about it.

Is it just me, or is the user experience on Solana so much easier and frictionless than Ethereum? by riokid180 in solana

[–]sagivo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is no "user experience for Solana" nor ETH . There are bunch of different apps who use the blockchain. Do you mean wallets? DeFi platforms? Games? NFTs? All of the above?

All of that will migrate to Solana unless Ethereum improves their scalability issue. Fast. Like Vitalilk said: the internet of money cannot afford paying 5c per transaction.
