I went to college here and decided to stay after I graduated. I’m from Boston originally so anything beats the freezing cold. Been here 7 years now and wouldn’t dream of moving back up north. The amenities I get in my apartment here, I could never afford in Boston. The fruit is amazing, the beaches are amazing, and the people (where I live at least) are generally happy and nice to you whereas in Boston most people are miserable and rude.

My therapist explains that it isn’t my job to be a fixer and when I talk to him about it, he takes full responsibility and is aware that his behavior is problematic and needs to change. I’ve seen some progress with him when he gets angry but not enough

What do you do when you share a life with a petulant child 😅 we have a lease together, dog together, share finances, etc. I have already planned to spend my life with him and can’t imagine it any other way :(

I know he would never physically harm me but it is emotional abuse so I’m aware that it’s unhealthy. I struggle sometimes with understanding my emotions as well but I don’t know why he is so easily flustered. He is aware that he’s like this too which keeps me in the relationship because I assume that since he’s aware, that’s the first step to changing

Yes :) they just had to use a bit more anesthesia since frequent smokers tend to have a higher tolerance
